Binarium review: what this broker actually offers
Binarium is a binary options and forex broker that has been trading online since 2014 under the company name Binarium Ltd. It targets traders who want a low entry threshold: the minimum deposit is $5, the minimum trade is $1, and a free demo account is preloaded with $10,000 of virtual funds. The platform runs entirely in the browser, so nothing has to be installed on a PC, and an Android app is available for mobile trading.
Below we go through the platform, the assets, the payment methods, the bonus terms and the risks, using the broker's own published conditions. Where a claim comes from Binarium rather than from an independent source, we say so.

Pros and cons
What we liked
- Very low entry cost. $5 to fund an account and $1 per trade is among the lowest in the segment.
- A real demo account. $10,000 in virtual funds, no deposit required, so the platform can be tested before any money is at risk.
- No installation. Everything runs in the browser; there is also an Android app.
- Broad payment choice. Cards, e-wallets, mobile payments and Bitcoin, in USD, EUR and RUB.
- Support in six languages around the clock, plus a structured education section.
What to be aware of
- Binary options are high-risk instruments. The majority of retail traders lose money on them.
- No tier-1 regulation is published. Binarium does not display a licence from an authority such as the FCA, CySEC or ASIC.
- Retail access is closed in the EU and the UK. ESMA banned the sale of binary options to retail clients in 2018 and the UK's FCA made its own ban permanent in 2019.
- Traders from the United States, Israel and Ukraine are not accepted.
- Withdrawals are capped per transaction at $250 / €250 / RUB 15,000, so larger balances have to be taken out in several requests.
- Bonus money carries turnover conditions that must be met before withdrawal.

Is Binarium safe? What we could and could not verify
This is the section that matters most, so we will be blunt about it. Binarium has been operating since 2014, which rules out the very short lifespan typical of throwaway platforms, and it publishes a company name, Binarium Ltd. The broker states that client funds are held in European bank accounts. That is the broker's own statement; we have found no independent confirmation of it, and you should treat it as a claim rather than as a verified fact.
What we could not find is a licence from a tier-1 financial regulator. Binarium does not display authorisation from the FCA, CySEC, ASIC or a comparable authority. In practice that means the investor-protection mechanisms you would get with a regulated broker, such as segregated client accounts backed by a compensation scheme and access to a financial ombudsman, are not available here.
You also need to know the legal picture in your own country before you deposit anything:
- European Union. ESMA prohibited the marketing, distribution and sale of binary options to retail clients in 2018, and national regulators have since made the ban permanent.
- United Kingdom. The FCA banned the sale of binary options to retail consumers with effect from April 2019.
- United States, Israel, Ukraine. Binarium does not accept clients from these countries at all.
Our practical advice: start with the demo account, deposit only what you can afford to lose entirely, run a small test withdrawal early so you know the process works before your balance grows, and keep records of every transaction.
The trading platform
Binarium's platform is browser based, which is its main practical advantage: there is nothing to download or update, and the same account opens from any computer. The chart area occupies most of the screen, with the trade ticket, amount, expiry and payout percentage grouped on the right, so a new trader can place a first position within a couple of minutes of opening the demo.
Four contract types are available: Pairs, Turbo options with very short expiries, One-Touch, and Limits. Payouts reach up to 90% on a winning position, though the exact percentage depends on the asset, the expiry and current market conditions, and it is shown on the ticket before you confirm a trade.
For analysis the broker provides an economic calendar and a market news feed. Traders who rely on deep technical analysis, custom indicators or algorithmic execution will find the toolset thinner than a full MetaTrader setup; this is a platform built for speed and simplicity rather than for depth. Mobile trading is available through the Binarium Android app.
Assets you can trade
There are 83 instruments in four groups:
- Currency pairs — including EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, EUR/GBP, EUR/JPY, NZD/USD, USD/CAD, USD/CHF, USD/RUB, USD/TRY, USD/BRL, USD/ZAR, USD/SGD and USD/EGP.
- Commodities — gold, silver, platinum, oil, coffee, sugar and wheat.
- Equities — roughly three dozen large caps, among them Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, Nike, IBM, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Barclays, Gazprom, Lukoil, Sberbank, Tata Motors and Toshiba.
- Indices — S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, DAX, FTSE 100, Nikkei 225, Hang Seng, CAC, ASX, RTS, MICEX and others, including several regional Middle Eastern and Asian indices.
That is a solid spread for a binary options broker, although it is narrower than what a mainstream CFD or forex broker would list, and there are no cryptocurrencies among the tradable assets even though Bitcoin is accepted for deposits.
Deposits and withdrawals
Accounts can be funded in US dollars, euros or Russian rubles, and the minimum deposit is $5. Binarium accepts credit and debit cards, QIWI, Neteller, WebMoney, Mobile Commerce, Yandex.Money, UnionPay and Bitcoin, which is a broader mix than most competitors offer and clearly aimed at traders in Eastern Europe, Turkey and Asia.
Withdrawals are processed from one hour according to the broker, and requests are normally returned to the same method used for the deposit. The important limitation is the cap: a single withdrawal transaction cannot exceed $250, €250 or RUB 15,000. A larger balance therefore has to be withdrawn across multiple requests, which is worth factoring in before you build up a big account.
Two practical points from our own checklist. First, complete identity verification early rather than at the moment you want your money out, because that is where most withdrawal complaints against any broker originate. Second, make a small withdrawal soon after your first deposit: it costs you almost nothing and it tells you exactly how long the process takes in your country and with your payment method.
Bonuses: read the turnover terms first
Binarium advertises a deposit bonus of up to 150%. Bonus funds are credited on top of your deposit and increase the size of position you can open, which is attractive on paper, but every bonus of this kind comes with a turnover requirement: a set volume of trades must be completed before bonus money, and often the profit made with it, can be withdrawn.
Before accepting any bonus, check three things: the exact turnover multiple, whether accepting the bonus locks your own deposit as well, and what happens to the bonus if you request a withdrawal early. If the answer to any of these is unclear, trading without the bonus is usually the better choice for a beginner. We break the current offer down in detail on our Binarium bonus page.
How to open an account
- Register. Provide an email address and a password and confirm the account. See our step-by-step registration guide if you get stuck.
- Open the demo. The $10,000 practice balance is available immediately and costs nothing.
- Learn the ticket. Place at least twenty demo trades until choosing an asset, an expiry and a stake is automatic.
- Verify your identity. Upload documents now, not later, so withdrawals are not delayed.
- Fund the account. Start at or near the $5 minimum and treat the amount as money you can lose.
- Test a withdrawal. Take a small amount back out before you scale up.

Who Binarium suits — and who should look elsewhere
It may suit you if you are outside the EU, the UK and the other restricted countries, you want to try short-term binary contracts with a very small budget, you value a platform that works without installation, and you understand that this is speculation rather than investing.
Look elsewhere if you are a retail client in the EU or the UK, where these products are banned for your protection; if you need a broker supervised by a tier-1 regulator; if you plan to withdraw large amounts regularly, given the per-transaction cap; or if you are looking for long-term investing rather than short-term speculation.
Frequently asked questions
Is Binarium a scam?
We have found no evidence that Binarium is a scam, and the broker has been operating since 2014. At the same time it publishes no tier-1 licence, so you do not have the protections a regulated broker provides. We look at the accusations and the evidence in more depth in our is Binarium a scam analysis.
What is the minimum deposit on Binarium?
$5, or the equivalent in euros or Russian rubles. The minimum trade size is $1.
Does Binarium have a free demo account?
Yes. The demo comes with $10,000 in virtual funds, requires no deposit, and can be used to test the platform and any strategy before risking real money.
How long do Binarium withdrawals take?
The broker states that withdrawals are processed from one hour. A single transaction is limited to $250, €250 or RUB 15,000, so larger sums must be split into several requests. Complete identity verification in advance to avoid delays.
Can traders from the United States use Binarium?
No. Binarium does not accept clients from the United States, Israel or Ukraine. Retail clients in the European Union and the United Kingdom cannot legally be sold binary options either, following the ESMA and FCA bans.
What is the maximum payout?
Up to 90% on a winning position. The exact figure depends on the asset, the expiry and market conditions, and it is displayed on the trade ticket before you confirm.
Is there a Binarium mobile app?
Yes, an Android application is available. The web platform also works in a mobile browser. Details are on our Binarium app page.
Verdict
Binarium is a competent, low-cost entry point into binary options: a genuinely small minimum deposit, a free $10,000 demo, a platform that a beginner can understand in minutes, wide payment coverage and support that answers around the clock. Those are real strengths and they explain why the broker has lasted more than a decade.
The reservations are equally real. There is no tier-1 regulation, the withdrawal cap is restrictive once an account grows, bonus terms need reading line by line, and the instrument itself is one that most retail traders lose money on. Binary options are not a substitute for investing, and they are banned for retail clients across the EU and the UK precisely because of the losses they produced.
If you are eligible to trade and you go in with the demo first, a small budget and a tested withdrawal route, Binarium is a reasonable place to learn how these contracts behave. If you are looking for a regulated home for serious capital, this is not it. A fuller breakdown is in our detailed Binarium review, and practical guides are published on the blog.
Risk warning. Trading binary options and forex carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of all of your invested capital. Most retail investor accounts lose money. These products are not suitable for everyone; make sure you understand how they work and consider seeking independent advice. Nothing on this page is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Binary options are banned for retail clients in the EU and the UK — check the rules that apply where you live before opening an account.
